The ongoing cost of Brexit...

Coffee prices were predicted to rise as a result of the Brexit vote in my blog of 11th July...

However, the contagion has now spread as pretty much every supplier has notified us of impending price increases as a result of the fall in the value of sterling following the brexit vote and subsequent pronouncements on timings and structures of any potential future deal...

As usual, we will hold firm for as long as we can, but it is inevitable that some prices will need to increase in line with the increased cost of goods and services before the year is out...

Rest assured that we will only increase prices on those products that we have experienced an increase on, but it is likely that this will be every product given the frequency of notification letters - however, the price increase will inevitably be piecemeal until all increases are in and applied.
